Sweet notes boost Strathearn RDA

Strathearn RDA recently received a fantastic boost to their funds from the very generous donations given by the supporters of a wonderful charity Christmas Concert organised by Strathearn Singers Ladies Choir. The concert took place in St Andrew’s Church Hall in Crieff during December. It was a wonderful event and it was very heartwarming to receive such amazing support from the choir and the community. The choir donated the amazing total of £1200 – a fantastic boost for Strathearn RDA.

The Strathearn RDA group organises regular horse riding lessons in Perthshire at the Crieff Hydro Riding Centre, where young people of all ages and abilities can develop horse-riding skills and increase their physical activity.

During sessions, riders develop improved motor skills, muscle strength and coordination, which in turn improves their physical health.  Working with the Strathearn RDA’s fully trained volunteers also helps to promote the mental well-being and self-esteem of riders as they foster relationships and make new friends.
